Environmental Due Diligence for Multi-State Real Estate Portfolio Transactions
Challenge
Contracted by the R.C. Diocese of Brooklyn, ALC performed AHERA (Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act) inspections across 64 NYC Catholic schools. This scope of work required careful coordination to address the needs of a large, diverse portfolio of educational facilities while maintaining compliance with federal regulations.
Work
Our team of experienced investigators identified and assessed asbestos-containing materials within each building in accordance with AHERA regulations. ALC generated reports to support the organization’s ongoing responsibility to maintain safe learning environments for students, faculty, and staff.
Impact
Over the last several decades, ALC has acquired the necessary experience to lead and manage large-scale HAZMAT inspection programs assisting organizations and agencies alike to preserve the health and safety of New York City schools.
