Josh Sarett

Josh Sarett is CEO and Founder of ALC Environmental. In his role as CEO he regularly consults with customers on their most pressing Environmental, Health and Safety needs. He builds and manages teams, oversees budgets and drives sales.

Josh founded the company in 1997 after cashing in his Bar Mitzvah Account, to catch the wave of homeowners and commercial real estate managers who would need lead testing after the new Federal Regulations were passed. No one Called. NO ONE. With great perseverance, many changes in direction, the company has grown into a full service Environmental Consulting, Testing, and Remediation firm based in New York City. A trusted source for building, banking, hospitality and construction professionals.

The firm provides a huge swath of services from lead, asbestos and mold testing, cooling tower inspections, indoor air quality audits, environmental site assessments to training and remediation. The firm employs over 100 Environmental and Health & Safety professionals to service the construction and building industry from our office in New York City and covering all of the Continental United States.

Josh steers the ship and tells the story. He comes from a family of storytellers who have built businesses since the 1800’s as butchers, rag and barrel dealers, and restaurant owners. He regularly speaks at industry and trade conferences on pertinent Federal, State and Local Regulations.

Josh is most proud of the employees and clients he has met and become friends with along the way. Who knew a $1400.00 windfall from his Bar Mitzvah would still be paying such dividends so many years later?
