ALC provides Certified Asbestos Air Sampling Technicians and Project Monitors to monitor the
asbestos removal activities and conduct air sampling in the required locations per the approved scope of work. Air sampling will be conducted utilizing PCM methodology to ensure exposure limits are not being exceeded and to comply with all Federal, State and Local guidelines.

• Air Monitoring During Asbestos Abatement – sampling air to measure asbestos fibers while asbestos materials are being removed to ensure abatement was successful
• Ambient Air Sampling – measuring pollutants in the outdoor atmosphere around a facility to assess regional or neighborhood-level air quality
• Lead in Air Testing – collecting air samples to evaluate lead exposure in a given area according to OSHA’s standards
• Community Air Monitoring Programs – monitoring air quality within a community near a construction site, industrial facility, or in environmental justice neighborhoods
• Air Monitoring During Construction – measuring contaminants generated on-site to protect workers and the surrounding community
• Silica Testing – determining whether airborne silica levels exceed OSHA/NIOSH limits through air sampling, laboratory analysis, and surface testing

At ALC, we are in the business of treating “Sick Building Syndrome,” a condition in which
building occupants experience acute health and comfort problems that appear to be linked to
time spent inside the building, but no specific illness or cause can be identified. In contrast, the term “building related illness” (BRI) is used when symptoms of diagnosable illness are identified and can be attributed directly to airborne building contaminants.
